Lake Murray Ragdolls is a TICA registered cattery in SC. Kittens are raised as part of our family and socialized with young and older cats. All breeder adult cats have been genetically tested and are negative/negative for HCM and PKD. These are genetically induced heart and kidney diseases that Ragdolls can carry the genetic links for. All kittens will be examined by a certified veterinarian and are given their first two sets of vaccinations.
We do offer transportation for those kittens that are going to homes where distance is a factor. Kittens are accompanied by the cattery owner and are flown in cabin, never being by themselves. They do very well flying and costs are reasonable.
There are always multiple colors and patterns to pick from within the different litters.
As a cat lover for many years, I have found Ragdolls to be the most loving of all the cats I have ever owned. When people describe them as the closest thing you can get to a dog, they are not telling a story. My fur babies follow me around the house and talk to me all the time. They are excellent pets and the best companion a "cat person" could ever hope for.
At Lake Murray Ragdolls we pride ourselves in the care we give our adult breeders and kittens. Getting to love on all the babies is a wonderful part of this work, but loving on my adult breeding cats is just as important to me. Believe me they are some spoiled cats!
